All Inclusive Resorts Have Many Free Activities  (check your resort)

Each resort is different, but most resorts rated 4 and 5 apples that we have visited offer several free activities. Check your resort if there is something specific you are interested in doing. Most places have an activity team that is friendly and will keep you entertained if you want.  If you want to relax and read a book, there are quieter areas too. Riviera Maya has some of the best beaches in Mexico, so there are plenty of water sports and activities available.
