Traveling can make you happier, but you already knew that, right? According to a recent cnbc.com article, planning, researching, and anticipating a future trip increases happiness too. I may not be able to hop on a plane to a tropical destination at this time, but I can research places I want to visit and be ready to whip out my passport as soon the reservations are made.
If you need a shot of happiness, and who doesn’t these days, then I encourage you to start planning your next vacation. (You know you need one.) If you are looking for an all-inclusive resort in Riviera Maya, you will want to read my recent post about resorts and travel tips. Once you have chosen your resort, add an exciting excursion. For example, tour the Sian Ka’an biosphere or spend an amazing day at Xenses. Need some tips to save a few dinero for your trip? There’s a money-saving post for that too. Finally, if you are not sure where you want to stay and what you want to do in Riviera Maya, check out my video of the TRS Yucatan Hotel.
Now that you have had a chance to click on a few links, are photos of the beaches and palm trees making you smile? Can you see yourself walking on the beach or sunning yourself beside the pool? Are you beginning to feel…happy? Start planning your vacation today, and don’t forget to send me a postcard when you get there.
